초록: 본 연구는 국내 대학의 AI윤리교육 현황을 분석하고 개선 방안을 모색하기 위해 전국 4년제 대학에서 관련 수업 개설 현황을 조사하고, 34명의 교수자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 국내 대학의 AI윤리교육은 주로 학부 과정에서 선택과목이나 교양 과목으로 개설되고 있으며, 강의 위주의 교육이 주를 이루고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교수자들은 AI윤리교육 목표 달성에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하는 반면, 교육 자료 부족, 사회적 관심 부족, 전임교원 부족 등의 어려움에 직면하고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 AI윤리교육 개선을 위해 교육 자료 확충, 사회적 관심 제고, 전임교원 충원, 학제 간 교육 활성화 등의 필요함을 시사한다.

This study surveyed 34 instructors to analyze the current status of AI ethics education in Korean universities and to explore ways to improve it. The findings indicate that AI ethics education in Korean universities is mainly offered as elective and liberal arts courses in undergraduate programs and is predominantly lecture-based. In addition, while instructors positively assessed the achievement of AI ethics education goals, they also faced challenges such as lack of educational materials, limited social interest, and a shortage of full-time faculty. Accordingly, this study highlights the need to expand educational materials, increase social interest, recruit more full-time faculty, and promote interdisciplinary education to improve AI ethics education.
